ACUPUNCTURE
ACU-FACIAL
Acupuncture is the placement of very thin needles in specific points in order to move the Qi (chee) in directions that will afford healing and rebalancing. Acupuncture needles are sterile and single use. Each acupuncture site is cleaned with alcohol. Electrical stimulation may be applied in specific instances. Individuals with bleeding disorders should be advised to avoid acupuncture.
Acu-facial is aimed at rejuvenating the face to its optimal opulence. Acupuncture techniques are applied to also promote youthful sense of well-being from within.
THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE
Therapeutic massage is used for specific needs based upon health assessments in the framework of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Cupping, the use of therapeutic oils, and heat are used in conjunction with massage.
CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINE
Chinese herbs are prescribed based upon a diagnosis of imbalance. At Essential Asian Medicine, we are very cautious in evaluating for drug-herb interactions as herbs are considered medicine in Traditional Chinese Medicine. We are also careful in using only herbs that come from sources that quality and purity are known. Many Chinese herbs are considered food and may be added into you cooking and diet.
